What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, maintain session state, and measure how visitors use the site. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage that function in comparable ways.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use on spartanbiolab.com, why we use them, and how you can control them.
How We Use Cookies
We use cookies in four broad categories:
- Necessary cookies: required for the site to function, including cart, checkout, login, and remembering your tracking choice. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
- Functional cookies: remember a display choice so the site does not repeat itself, such as skipping the opening animation once you have seen it. They hold no personal information, and the site works without them.
- Statistics (analytics) cookies: help us understand how visitors interact with our site, including page views, navigation paths, and session behavior. We use Fullstory and Google Analytics for this. Fullstory records how you use the site (pages, clicks, scrolls and errors) as a replay we watch to find and fix problems. Form fields and checkout pages are masked in your browser before anything is sent. While you are signed in, we tell Fullstory your account ID, name, email address and phone number, so we can find your visit if you contact us. Google Analytics runs while you are signed out and stops while you are signed in. Both run unless you switch tracking off.
- Advertising (marketing) cookies: we use Google Ads to learn which of our ads lead to orders. When you arrive through one of our Google ads, Google's tag and our own
spartan_click_attrcookie record that ad click. When you place an order, we send Google Ads the order number and order total. Google Ads can also use its cookies to show our ads to visitors who have been to our site. We run no other advertising or retargeting pixels.
We have no cookie banner. Tracking is on until you switch it off with Allow tracking, in your Account Settings or at the bottom of this page. Your choice is saved in your browser (spartan_consent, listed below). With tracking off, Fullstory stops recording, Google Analytics stops counting, we tell Google not to use advertising cookies or personalize ads (Google Consent Mode), and we remove our spartan_click_attr cookie and stop setting it. GoAffPro still loads so a partner is credited for an order they referred.

Local and Session Storage
Your browser also holds a few items in local storage and session storage. These are not cookies and are not sent with every request the way cookies are, but you can see them in your browser's developer tools and clear them the same way you clear cookies. Session storage is emptied when you close the tab.

GoAffPro's script can set its own referral cookie when you arrive through a partner link. GoAffPro does not publish its cookie names; see its policies linked below. Third-party cookie names and durations may change as those providers update their services.
Managing Cookies
You manage tracking with one switch, Allow tracking. It is on unless you turn it off. You will find it:
- At the bottom of this page, for anyone
- In Account Settings, under Privacy, when you are signed in
Your choice is saved in this browser. Set it again on another device, or after you clear this site's data.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: If you are a California resident or reside in a state with similar opt-out rights, you may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising by switching Allow tracking off.
Changes to your choice take effect immediately. Switching tracking off applies to new data only and does not delete data collected before your opt-out.
Managing via Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Delete all or specific cookies
- Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
- Set preferences to be notified when a cookie is placed

Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services that operate independently of Spartan BioLabs. We do not control how these third parties use cookies or the data they collect. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies:

Impact of Refusing Cookies
If you refuse or disable cookies, the following applies:
- Necessary cookies: required for cart, checkout, login, and remembering your tracking choice. Without these, you cannot complete purchases or access your account.
- Functional cookies: if you block them, the opening animation plays on every visit. Nothing else changes.
- Statistics cookies: set by Fullstory and Google Analytics. Switching tracking off stops both, and the site will function normally.
- Advertising cookies: optional. Switching tracking off tells Google not to use advertising cookies or personalize ads and removes our ad click cookie. The site will function normally.
Refusing non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to browse products or place orders, provided you accept necessary cookies.
